2013 Green Home of the Year Awards

This year's award winners cleverly integrate high-tech and low-tech approaches to sustainability. These projects represent the latest, greatest trends in sustainable shelter.

This year’s judging of our annual Green Home of the Year awards took place at The Lodge on the Desert, in Tucson, Arizona. Judges looked at many eco-friendly aspects of each home, including HERS ratings and/or green certification. Our staff suggested, however, that they not penalize an entry without certification—as long as it clearly demonstrated excellent performance.

Thank you to our judges
