Water and Resource Conservation
Water and resource conservation is a key tenet of the Mariposa Meadows project, mirroring what is going on in the greater building industry. As more areas grapple with water shortages, new technologies and practices evolve to help minimize water use and reuse water where possible. The Meadows has its own source of fresh water, but being good stewards of this precious resource means using low-flow fixtures, rainwater catchment, efficient wastewater treatment, and other water saving practices.
