Tiana Cooper, owner of ReVISION House Austin, sat down with Sara Gutterman, CEO of Green Builder Media, to discuss her home’s progress.

Covid-19 fueled delays and supply shortages in the building industry; Cooper inevitably hit roadblocks and delays. In this video she discusses what she would have done differently if she were to renovate her house all over again.

Topping the list? Cooper suggests homeowners put aside enough money to be able to move into a rental property while the house is under construction. She tells Gutterman about the many struggles that come with living on a construction site—for example, dealing with damaged furniture, broken appliances, and finding shoes in dust piles.
