Jay at the Helm
To lead the expansion of our builder services division, we’re thrilled to welcome Jay McKenzie as our new Head of Builder Partnerships—a seasoned industry expert with 25 years of experience helping builders market and sell new homes. With a deep passion for innovation and sustainability, Jay brings a strategic vision that will benefit Green Builder Media and our builder partners.

Jay’s background is as impressive as it is impactful. From his Publisher role at Professional Builder to his tenure at BDX and Zonda, his expertise in developing data-driven marketing strategies and effective consumer-focused assets for builders is second to none.
Now, Jay is ready to leverage his experience to create real-world sustainability solutions for builders navigating today’s challenges. He recognizes the massive shift happening in homebuilding. “Today’s dominant generations of new homebuyers are demanding greener, more sustainable homes, and builders must evolve to meet their expectations,” he states. Jay sees Green Builder Media as uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between industry demands and consumer priorities.

She lives in Lake City, Colo., with her husband, where she is an avid long-distance runner, snowboarder, and Crossfit trainer. She is also on the Board of Directors at Dvele, runs the Rural Segment for Energize Colorado, and is a former County Commissioner.
