Carrier:

Performance Multi-Zone Heat Pump with Basepan Heater will reduce the building’s carbon emissions by utilizing electricity instead of fossil fuels. There is no need for ductwork, and the system keeps the home cool in the summer and warm in the winter, down to 5 degrees Fahrenheit.

As a multi-zone, you can use up to five multiple style indoor units supported by just this one efficient, outdoor Inverter compressor unit. For quiet comfort in a multi-space application, it can't be beat.

Next, the Performance High Wall Indoor Units will deliver warm and cool air to each room. These units offer a balance between budget and energy efficiency. A temperature sensor in the remote controller will sense its surrounding temperature and adjust. Additionally, the unit has five modes, four fan speeds, and turbo mode to maintain comfort.

Additionally, the Wisconsin home will boast a Performance 96 Gas Furnace. Carrier’s condensing gas furnaces offer smart electronics and multi-stage capabilities that take indoor comfort and energy-saving performance to new levels. This particular model has a variable-speed blower motor and will run in low stage up to 90% of the time. Longer, low-stage run times give you better energy efficiency, better temperature control and increased comfort. It also assures you quieter performance.

SmartEvap^™ technology gives cooling condensation time to drain away to prevent rehumidification. As a result, SmartEvap can reduce humidity by up to 10%.

To control this system, Carrier’s Premium ecobee Thermostat w/ InteliSense and voice control. Carrier’s InteliSense technology connects homeowner units to dealers, making maintenance and servicing simple. It tailors itself to your schedule, your comfort preferences and the outside weather.

Daltile:

At VISION House Sussex, the kitchen backsplash by Daltile will be a beautifully unique addition to the home. Their Mesmerist tile demonstrates a variation in color and structure that give a natural and handmade look. The four-inch hexagons add a subtle detail to the space, while the cream coloring opens up the room. It fits perfectly in the kitchen due to its stain-proof and dent-proof nature and Daltile’s Simpliclean technology to make cleanup a breeze.

In the owner’s bathroom, Daltile’s Articulo will be used for the shower walls. The flowing travertine look of this porcelain tile creates a seamless design. This tile can be used on floors, walls and countertops. Slip-resistant, waterproof, stain-proof, dent-proof, scratch-resistant, fire-resistant, and contains Daltile’s Climatepro and Slimpliclean technologies. 

The shower floors will be Daltile’s Uptown Glass Matte. This small format hexagonal pattern in Alabaster is made from 98% recycled material. It also features Climatepro and Simpliclean technology, along with the durability that comes with every Daltile offering.  

Lastly, Daltile’s Stone Decorative Accent will be added to the shower walls. This marble and limestone mosaic in a raindrop shape makes for a distinguished design with their “gris et blanc” color pallet.

Kohler:

From Kohler, the Bellera 560 kitchen faucet in Vibrant Stainless looks sleek and has a versatile and functional design. Three-function pull-down spray head with touch-control allows you to switch between stream, Sweep® spray and Boost technology. Boost technology increases the flow rate by 30%, and Sweep spray creates a wide, forceful blade of water for stubborn stuck-on messes. Also, MasterClean technology on the spray face is easy to clean and withstands mineral buildup. 

For the bathroom sinks, the Caxton oval undermount sinks will be used. It has a simple, streamlined design that fits with both traditional and modern decor.

Windsor Door:

Windsor Door manufactures products made with raw materials that consist of very high amounts of recycled content. Steel can be infinitely recycled and reused without quality loss and is our primary raw material. Glass, insulation, and engineered wood are also produced with measurable amounts of recycled content. Our expectation for Windsor products is for them to be produced from predominately of recycled content, measurably sustainable, and CFC free.

Jinko Solar:

The EAGLE Continental solar panels from JinkoSolar will provide the home with renewable and independent energy production. Its black frame and black backsheet creates an ideal look for residential applications. The EAGLE Continental produces up to 400 watts and utilizes mono PERC half-cell technology, which boosts performance even when shaded. 

As one of the most durable panels on the market, the EAGLE Continental features a thick 40mm frame tested to endure up to 113 mph winds (category 3 hurricane). Its 3.2mm tempered front-side glass is designed to withstand hailstones of up to 55mm, which is double the minimum IEC 61215 standard of 25mm. Phyn:

At VISION House Sussex, Phyn is providing the Phyn Plus smart water assistant. As a company, Phyn acknowledges the increasing stress placed on our world's water supply and the damage water can do to homes. The product senses water flow with the high-definition pressure wave flow sensor and reports any abnormalities. It will detect leaks, automatically shut off water, and send alerts to a smartphone with the Phyn app. The system will also track water usage down to the hour and even delineate the use for each fixture, helping bring awareness to excessive water usage.

At VISION House Sussex, many homeowners are expected to be frequently traveling and away from home. Phyn Plus will tell you when pipes are starting to freeze through the app so you can take action and prevent a pipe burst.
