Sara Gutterman: USG eco smart panels have been used in transcend, which have about 21% less global warming potential than conventional drywall, and they're up to about 22% lighter than conventional drywall, which helps to reduce transportation fuel consumption by up to about 20%. The panels use 100% recycled paper and the product is low VOC emitting. In addition, the panels are noncombustible and fire resistant for added safety at the forested and dry sites.
