CRT stands for cathode ray tubes, found in old TV and computer monitors. This material accounts for over 860 million pounds of e-waste in the U.S. alone. Fireclay works with an electronics recycler, ECS Refining, which processes and cleans the glass. After sorting, Fireclay spins its magic and turns old CRT glass into beautiful new tile. Phosphor, a natural CRT color, comes in 2” x 8”, 2” x 4” and penny-round mosaic sizes.
