NAREE’s 74th Annual Real Estate Journalism Contest Deadline was March 1, 2024 for work published or aired in 2023. Award winners will be honored at NAREE’s Annual Conference in Austin. Awards Day is Thursday, June 20th.
#NAREE2024 will be at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Austin, Texas beginning Tuesday, June 18 at 8 AM and concluding Friday, June 21 at 10 AM. Many journalists will arrive on Monday, June 17 so they can hit the ground running on Tuesday. Fellowships to cover hotel costs are available to award-winning journalists.

NAREE’s 58th Annual Real Estate Journalism Conference will be in Austin, TX June 18-21, 2024 overlooking downtown.. NAREE met in Las Vegas in 2023 and Atlanta in 2022. NAREE 2021 was held in Miami, and like most everyone else, NAREE held its 2020 Conference virtually.

Entries will be judged by professors of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Categories are listed on the Journalism Competition page and can be accessed from the Media tab.
